In 1979, Tom teamed up with Joseph Vanacore and established what would become the Firm of Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiGovanni & Weddell, LLP, CPAs. Tom’s role at that time was Partner-in-Charge of auditing engagements. He went on to become managing partner for 7 years. He opened our 2nd office located in Dutchess County in 2000 with a grand opening taking place after the purchase of our own building in 2008. Presently, Tom is working with the Audit Department

Tom has been instrumental in our growth as a firm by opening up our 2nd office. The Firm realized that the opportunities for business development in Dutchess County were a no brainer. Tom stepped to the plate and agreed to be the Partner who ran our Poughkeepsie office from 2000 – 2008. After networking, marketing, and community involvement we grew out of our space and in 2007 purchased our own building in Wappingers Falls, New York, where we had our official grand opening in January 2008.
